Delete your account

Account & data deletion

Flat4Pet lets you delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time. The fastest way is inside the app; this page is the backup for anyone who no longer has access.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Flat4Pet and sign in.
2. Go to Profile (bottom-right tab).
3. Open Settings and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. You are signed out immediately; the account is anonymised after a 30-day grace period, during which you can restore it by signing back in.

Use this form if you have lost access to the phone number on the account or cannot open the app. We review every request and email a confirmation within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile (name, photo, phone, address, bio).
• All pets you added, and your caregiver profile data (services, area, availability).
• All chat threads and messages tied to your account.
• Your ID-verification document, if uploaded.
• Push-notification tokens.

What is retained

• Anonymised booking history for 7 years to meet UK HMRC accounting requirements: every personally-identifying field is stripped.
• Moderation records, if any reports were filed about the account, for safety auditing, with identifying fields redacted.

Retained data cannot be linked back to you.
